I am competing in RACE Race Across Europe on July the 3rd as part of a team of 8 relay. The team includes some ex rugby legends, current triathletes and ex road cyclists. We have been training now since October for this HUGE challenge! the race starts in Northern France and is just over 3000 miles heads through Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, back through France into Spain to finish at Gibraltar. We are looking ride it in 6 days to break the record constantly (weather dependent) so training is very intense! (The Tour De France is 2100 miles in 3 weeks!)

On a personal level I have undertaken many of the major events like End 2 End Extreme, Lands End to John O Groats, Rowing the Channel Etc for the SPF since 2009 raising as much money and awareness for The Steve Prescott Foundation. For the last few year I have not taken on many challenges due to competing in Time Trials, Duathlons, Triathlons and IronMan. This year is back to the grind and this event has already gained great publicity with some of the big named riders.
