My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My Barclays colleague, Martyn Byford and I are going to push a standard hospital trolley around the well established Stebbing 10 mile road race this Sunday 13th November. We are raising funds for 2 charities and Barclays will match fundraising to £750 for each charity. Martyn is raising funds for Maxmillan Cancer Support and I am raising funds for Essex Air Ambulance.
The course is challenging and hilly with an off road section at 6 miles so it will be quite demanding. The trolley is heavy and the wheels have a mind of their own.

The Essex Air Ambulance is a helicopter emergency medical service with the ability to access remote areas quickly, bringing highly qualified clinicians and sophisticated life-saving equipment to patients within the first few vital minutes of an emergency. It costs around £250,000 each month to cover all charitable costs and aircraft operations. The Charity is reliant upon donations from the people of Essex who give generously in order to keep the county's life-saving helicopter service in the air. We can't fly without you!
