Having previously completed the Berlin and Barcelona Marathons, I am coming out of my three year retirement to run the 2010 London Marathon with my son Alan. Together we will train for and complete the punishing 26.2 mile race in London's concrete jungle with the aim of raising £3,000 for Shaftesbury Young People, our chosen charity.

Please give generously. Shaftesbury Young People works across England with the aim of improving the lives and outcomes for children and young people in care and in need. They work with over 7,000 young people every year and are pioneers in driving forward new and crucial work for England's disadvantaged and vulnerable youth.
