Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm really grateful for your support.

From the 10th - 13th July I am taking on the challenge of cycling from London to Blois in the Loire Valley, France. A fundraising event to celebrate Saint-Gobain's 350th anniversary.

Along with 119 colleagues I will be cycling 100+ miles a day for four days. This is not going to be a easy ride in the park. It is four hard days in the saddle that's going to require commitment and dedication to a carefully planned training programme over the coming months. The demands of four torturous back-to-back days means I'll need to be training most evenings and weekends in preparation. Knowing I will be raising money for such a worthy cause will ease the pain and help me on my way.

It's a challenge I'm up for, though.

We're raising money for the Saint-Gobain Together Partnership (http://www.saint-gobain.co.uk/about-us/charity-partners/) which this year is supporting two charities that do amazing work: Macmillan Cancer Support and the Irish Cancer Society.

The legal bit: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
