My story

Updated on May 15th 2012 at 5:27 PM from the JustGiving API

Out running again 2nite, still in pain off Sundays run, bloody hamstring. painkillers when I get in. got to go out thou. one week on Sunday till marathon. thanks again for donations so far. Tiny lives charity is such a deserving local charity.

After our twins Benjamin and Ava were born, Benjamin contracted a very serious infection.  He spent 7 days in the special care baby unit at the RVI.  Whilst in there the consultants, doctors and nurses, and the cutting edge equipment did an amazing job in making our very sick boy better.  The special care baby unit is just one of the things that tiny lives helps fund.  They also contribute towards the cost of specialist staff training and conferences.  Support a PhD research student.  Helps parents from across the region with travel and parking costs.  Pay the salary of a specialist physiotheripist.  Also decorate and refurbish the flats used by parents with babies in the unit.
