After major surgery last year and a great deal of uncertainty for the future, I decided I needed a physical goal to aim for to get myself back in shape. I found out about Tough Mudder and decided that was the event for me. I decided to do it for the Moira Anderson Foundation because it is a great charity that helps victims of child abuse, and raising money for that gave me the motivation I needed when I was getting ready to go running in the rain, or cycling to work at 5am.

I have been training for over 6 months now for the 15th of July, and feel great, so bring it on Tough Mudder- lets see what you're made of!
