As joint official charities for the 2013 Virgin London Marathon, YouthNet and Age UK have teamed up with a mission in mind – ending isolation and loneliness for those in later life. YouthNet and Age UK. A lifeline, online. www.runforit.org.uk info@runforit.org.uk. Your donations and Gift Aid will be split 34% and 66% between YouthNet and Age UK respectively. Any monies raised over and above our project target will be split between the two charities on the same basis, but will go directly to the general funds of each charity.

Story

Thank you for looking at my page.

I have decided to run the Marathon. I sometimes struggle to remember why - I'm in my last 2 weeks now. I have quit smoking, recovered from a sinus operation and a lumbar disc problem in January.

Apart from the desire to be a fitter person I am also looking to raise money for YouthNet and Age UK. An intergenerational effort!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
