In September 2013 I am undertaking the  mental and physical personal challenge of a lifetime to raise much needed funds for Wigan and Leigh Hospice.With a group of 9 I will attempt to Trek up to 3 ascents and descents per day at high altitude over a distance of between 17 and 25km each day for a minimum of 7 hours per day. Camping as we go with no facilities this Trek will test me in more ways than one. However this challenge is nothing compared to the challenge faced by many patients and their families on a daily basis. I am fully funding the trip myself so every penny donated will be paid directly to the Hospice. I am investing a considerable amount of time in training for this challenge and hope you will help support my fundraising efforts if you can.

Wigan and Leigh Hospice need to raise £4500 per day to continue to provide outstanding care for those who need it most. You support is much appreciated.
