Our Son Jason was stillborn on the 4th of December 2009, we were offered support through various chains by the hospital. The Doctors were unable to give Jason's cause of death.
We both have spent a lot of time thinking about what could have happened. Although we will never know what happened, the Sands Charity promotes research into the causes, and possibilities for preventing, stillbirths and neonatal deaths.
I am not really the kind of person who likes to talk so i did not make use of the Sands support, but to know that the support is there made me feel as though i wasn't on my own.
Sands also works in partnership with health professionals to improve the quality of care that is offered to parents who have a pregnancy loss, a stillbirth or a neonatal death.

We would like to name the Sands charity as Jason's charity and believe a target donation of £1000 is more than achievable.
