Its been over a year now, since Steven was taken from his family and friends, and he is always in our thoughts.
Last year, we raised monies for The Royal Marines in Steven's name, and again this year, we have held some more events, such as another bar b q, (for my birthday) and we helped out with the second, Steven Birdsall Memorial Football match.
The match is supported by St Pauls' Football Team, (the team where many of Steven's friends play) and is played against another Warrington team each year, and the winner takes the "Steven Birdsall Trophy". On each occasion, we must also thank the match officials, who waive their match fees to help out.
At each event, Steven's family and his many friends join in and celebrate with us.
At the events, people are asked if they would like to donate to our "Marine Fund" in aid of helping the Marines and their families. It is just amazing how generous people are, and so we continue to raise fantastic amounts of money in memory of Steven, which go directly to the Marines' Benevolent Fund.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed, and to those who may do so in the future, and we will continue to give these tokens of money to the Marines, in memory of Steven.
He will never be forgotten by any of us.
