In memory of Steven James Birdsall
Donations cannot currently be made to this page
The RMBF was formed to relieve need, distress or hardship suffered by any person who is serving, has served or is a dependant of a Royal Marine, irrespective of rank. It also provides immediately on the death of either a serving RM or a reservist on duty a sum of money for the next of kin to help them cope with any pressing financial matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Its been 3 years now, since Steven was taken from his family and friends, and he is always in our thoughts.

We have raised monies for The Royal Marines in Steven's name,  by holding a number of events such as a bar b q, and the Steven Birdsall Memorial Football match.

The match was supported by St Pauls' Football Team, (the team where many of Steven's friends  play) and was played against another Warrington team.  The winner took the "Steven Birdsall Trophy". On each occasion it has been played, we also had the support of the the match officials, who waive their match fees to help out, and we thank them for this.

At each event we have held, Steven's family and his many friends join in and celebrate with us.

At the events, people are asked if they would like to donate to our "Marine Fund" in aid of helping the Marines and their families. It is just amazing how generous people are, and so we continue to raise fantastic amounts of money in memory of Steven, which go directly to the Marines' Benevolent Fund.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed, and to those who may do so in the future, and we will continue to give these tokens of money to the Marines, in memory of Steven.

He will never be forgotten by any of us.
