Once again I'm running in the Liverpool 10k Mersey Tunnel run on the 30th of May 2010 to raise funds for Halton Haven Hospice. Those of you who know me know that I'm not really a runner - I'm a podgy fella with little legs and the thought of running for an hour (over a mile of which of which is up hill out of the tunnel) really doesn't float my boat, however I know the hospice does amazing work for people in my community so I'd like to try and top the £600 I raised last year.

I know at the moment times are hard - but even if you just give me £1 it will all mount up and make a real difference to a very worthy cause.

The hospice cares for people over eighteen years of age with life-limiting illnesses living in Halton and surrounding areas. They provide support to patients and their families according to their individual needs. As a Charity, they make no charge for any of their services.
