We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A group of us in D37 have decided that we would like to raise some money for JustGiving by cycling 60 miles with sanofi work colleagues. It will be worth while if we can raise money for kids with cancer.

The 5 cyclists are: Steven O'Brien, Louise Meehan, Martin Bull, Dave Maloney and Lee Tilson.

We have all recently been out training as a group through Brentwood. On our 1st bike ride in a group we completed 28 miles which was good training, as you can see from our photo not all of us enjoyed it! lol. Martin has been doing plenty of work on his excercise bike and has just purchased go faster tyres for the occasion! He has also been cycling in to work which is a 30 mile round trip. Myself and Louise decided to tackle the hills round Brentwood on 20th May and we completed 26 miles. Our training is in full flow at the moment so hopefully will load more photos to our page soon!!!!

So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Just to update my page we all completed our 60 mile bike ride, was very tough with all the wind and rain. Glad we some of us actually trained for the ride now. Poor Lee managed to get a puncture but he was glad of the fag break! haha. We raised £300 online and a further £945 through our sponsorship page which were very pleased with.

Thanks again for our donations it will help the teenage cancer trust alot!
