I'm a 51 year old guy who has never cycled more than 36 miles in a day but I'm now planning a ride that will take me diagonally from the west coast to the east. Some say I'm crazy riding up to 10 hours a day over a period of just over 3 days with no other riders and no backup. But if I can raise money for Rainbows Childrens Hospice then it will all be worthwhile

The ride will be mainly on cycle routes and is 310 miles in total, a 800 foot hill to climb.
