Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

I'm taking part in the Great North Run this year in memory of a very special baby boy, Chester Mack Drummond.

In October 2014 my best friend, Mark Drummond and his wife Suzanne sadly lost Chester when he was only a few hours old.
The Tiny Lives Trust helps to care for premature and sick newborn babies, their mothers and families in the Special Care Baby Unit at the RVI. The fund aims to provide the highest quality of care and needs to raise £150,000 every year to support a range of facilities, staff and equipment - many of which Chester, Suze and Mark received first-hand. Earlier this year Chester’s sister Cora made an early arrival and spent a short time in the special care baby unit.

So far Chester's memory has raised almost £6,500 and raised awareness of the Tiny Lives Trust.

Last year your generosity helped me raise much more than I ever expected. I’m running again this year, please sponsor me and help me raise money for Chester and other families who sadly go through the same thing.
