As you may be aware, Steven's mum and gran visit the Rossendale Hospice regularly for treatments and we'd like to be able to give something back to the Hospice. Steven Kelly and Andrew Heath will be climbing mount Snowdon on Saturday 4th July 2009.
The mountain is the highest in Wales. It is 1085m above sea level and is 3,560ft in height. It should take between 5 and 6 hours to complete. To avoid confusion....we're walking! There will be no donkeys, sherpas or trains involved!

On Saturday 4th July we set off to walk up Snowdon at 11:12am. We reached the summit at 1:50pm. It took us around 4hrs 50 mins to get up and back down again. The weather conditions made the climb much harder as there were torrential rain, high winds and low temperatures to contend with!
