I am going to Kosova with SMILE International in October 2009 to raise funds for a new Hospice at Home. My challenge is to walk 20 miles in two days, after which I will be meeting members of the project team.

SMILE has worked in Kosova for the past ten years to bring relief and this new project seeks to build a hospice to care and support adults and children dying of cancer. Gjakove in Kosova has one of the highest incidences of breast and cervical cancer in the Balkans and currently there is no hospice for those affected.
