Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Along with 11 of my colleagues I am trekking The Great Wall of China in April to help raise money for Brain Tumour Reasearch. We as a team are hoping to raise a total of £30,000. We will be trekking up to 8 hours a day and a total distance of 50K.

The trip will be funded by a combination of team members and the company. This means ALL money donated will go to our charity.

One member of our team unfortunately got to witness first-hand the devastation a brain tumour can have. This makes us all appreciate how fragile life can be and how much people can take their health and well being for granted. We aim to battle fatigue, sore muscles and fried dog for breakfast!, but this is nothing compared to the battle against this horrific disease.

I make this appeal to you to help me raise my personal target of £800. Do something awesome today and please donate something towards my target. I will appreciate any donations and I thank you for your time and generousity.

Stewart.
