Thanks for taking the time to visit Andrew and Stewart's JustGiving page.
On the 11th June 2011 we will be cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats. We won't be going for the record (44 hours!) but we will be aiming to cover the 1000 miles in 9 days. For those non-cyclists, this is an average of just over 100 miles per day, cycling from 8am to 6pm.
This trip was originally a crazy idea we chatted about last year on a Sunday morning cycle ride. That initial idea has now become reality. We have both been training hard over the winter, have purchased new cycling shorts and are ready to embark on our adventure. Unlike many LEJOG trips we will NOT be supported by a team, but, will have panniers on bikes and will be stopping at suitable accomodation for exhausted, smelly cyclists.
We are delighted to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support who provide care and support for cancer patients and their famillies. Stewart's father has been one of many to benefit from their specialist help. We hope that you will support us by making a donation which will encourage us when the going gets tough.

Many thanks
