Story
As part of Informa's fundraising campaign for Save the Children, 12 crazy individuals - including myself – will be taking on the Atlantic Ocean this November in a 2,700 nautical mile sail!
So what have we gotten ourselves into? An expected 3 week sail for a bunch of (mostly!) sailing beginners…A test of physical endurance, emotional resilience and a huge team challenge in which I’m sure we’ll get to know each other very, very well! This is all in the name of raising money for a fantastic cause.
Save the Children is the world's leading independent organisation for children and work in around 120 countries, including the UK. They save children’s lives, and in 2013 have helped 15.4 million children through their world-class programmes and commitment to challenge world leaders to keep to their promises to give children a brighter future.
We’re all working away to raise as much money as we possibly can for this. Any support you can provide would be hugely appreciated (which I will happily demonstrate in the form of hugs).
Every penny raised will go directly to Save the Children. No funds will be used for the Atlantic Challenge itself!
Many thanks!!!! xx
