To coincide with the Battle of Britain 70th anniversary, and 45th anniversary of the Ford Transit, we are planning to cover 650 miles on one tank the in the new Transit Econectic (super efficient!) to raise funds for HFH and the RAF Benovolent Fund. We plan to call at all the fighter bases en route including Elvington, Leconfield, Wittering, Coltishall, Duxford, Debden, Great Baddow, Biggin Hill, Manston, Kenley, Tangmere, Woolston and finally at Eastleigh.
Eastleigh is where the Spitfire was built, and the Transit still is!
