Join Steljes and Street Child Africa’s ‘Breath of Fresh Air’ campaign

Everyone deserves the right to an education but for some it’s not as easy as it should be

Join the Breath of Fresh Air campaign today, together we can give the gift of education and a pathway out of poverty for street children in Sub-Saharan Africa. We are aiming to raise £25,000 which could pay for the shoes, uniform and bag needed for 1,250 street children to enter a classroom and we need your help to do this.

Did you know?

In Sub-Saharan Africa, 30.6 million children are out of school and 55% of these children are unlikely to ever go to school. Only a quarter are likely to go to school in the future. UNESCO statistics 2012.

The campaign will support Street Child Africa’s education programme. We are going to try and help as many children as we can get to school. For every SMART Board® interactive whiteboard system put in to a UK classroom Steljes will give £20 which could provide the shoes, uniform and bag needed for a child to attend school in Africa.

· £124 pays for a child to go to school in Zambia for a year

· £2,000 is the average cost of the salary of a teacher for a year
