We've done it!!! Thanks to all those who have sponsored us, and if you haven't yet, please do so!! We truly do deserve every bit of cash raised after the torrential rain we endured last week!
In case you weren't aware of what we were doing - The StreetSleep Team slept rough in Manchester on 17th November 2009 to raise money for Shelter and raise awareness of the issues surrounding homelessness. We experienced being homeless first hand - and it truly was an eye opener!
Shelter help people throughout the whole of the UK, making a big difference to the both the young and old, helping children into a permanent home, fighting for the rights of the vulnerable, and ensuring people are safe and protected. Our target was to raise £2000 for the charity and thanks to you, we've smashed that! But we'd love to be able to raise more so please keep your sponsorship money coming in. Our team is pictured here, but consisted of:
