Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing specialist, palliative care and support to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Our support begins from the moment someone is diagnosed, through to palliative care and ultimately end of life care.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We have signed up to the challenge of the Strictly Learn to Dance fund-raising event run by St. Luke's Cheshire Hospice.

A little bit about the hospice first, St. Luke's cares for people from Mid and South Cheshire suffering from cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. It is a non-profit making organisation, funded by voluntary contributions and the local Primary Care Trust offering treatment, care, advice and support to many seriously ill people and their families every year. It costs around £7K per day to run the hospice so they run regular fund raising events to involve on the community and raise valuable monies.

So .... we, or rather I, signed us up to take part in the 'new to this year' Strictly Come Dancing competition. We are attending weekly dance classes leading up to a Grand Final to be held on Sunday 13th May. We are learning the Cha-Cha-Cha and Foxtrot and would be so grateful if you could support us by making a donation to this page. Our target is £300 so anything you can give to help us towards that will be very gratefully received.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. Thanks everyone xxx
