I am Stuart, a fifth year student at the University of St Andrews, and I have a passion for cycling and raising money for good causes. I am part of a team cycling from Xi'an to Tashkent, 3,200 miles along the ancient Silk road to raise money for The Elnura Foundation and Fauna & Flora International who do amazing work along the route we are taking. The Elnura Foundation work with two charities in Kyrgyzstan: The Center for the Protection of Children who take in children off the streets in Bishkek and allow them have a bright future, and Babushka Adoption provides the elderly population with support as they are often abandoned by their families.

Fauna & Flora International work with conservation projects in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to protect the endangered snow leopard and its natural habitat.
