<p><strong>Readathon</strong> is the UK's national sponsored reading event, encouraging children to read for pleasure, whilst raising money for seriously ill children. Reading for pure enjoyment is known to improve a child's chances in life in all kinds of ways - plus my school will get free books worth 20% of the total money we raise.</p>
<p><strong>Readathon</strong> supports three exceptional charities. <strong>Readwell</strong>, which provides books and storytelling to children to in hospital; <strong>CLIC Sargent</strong> giving support to young people and their families; and <strong>Road Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity</strong> which helps seriously ill and disabled children.</p>
