<p>I am raising money for a cancer charity who were awesome in helping my Dad to beat prostate cancer. I'm delighted to have now reached the £1,000 mark thanks to everyone's kind sponsorship. Further donations are still extremely welcome and needed by the Big C</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><strong>The Big C</strong> not only raises money for cancer research and equipment, but it also provides vital support and advice to anybody affected by a cancer diagnosis.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>They were great to my Dad and to our family. <strong>The Big C Centre</strong> provides a warm and friendly non-clinical environment and is staffed by a team of health professionals and volunteers, experienced and qualified in the needs of cancer patients, their families and friends. <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;">To raise this money, I will be trekked up Ben Nevis with <a href="http://www.discoveradventure.com/Home.aspx" target="_blank">Discover Adventure</a> in August. It was tougher than expected but I'm pleased to say that I did it.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;">I set the target as £750 but am pleased to say that this was beaten and is now over £1,000. Thank you. More is of course welcome</p>
