Story
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page, where you can donate to help me raise at least the target amount of £1350.
On May 6th we left South-East London with a group of other riders to cycle 300 km over 3 days, ending up at the Eiffel Tower in Paris. We are raising funds for Computer Aid International which collects old computers from business, refurbishes them and ships them to schools and community projects in less fortunate countries of the world.
As I work with computers I thought this would be a great way to help the charity and set myself an achievable, but difficult, challenge at the same time. I'm really pleased to say that all the cyclists completed the ride and so far we have raised over £35,000, and it's still coming in!
On a personal level I've been delighted that so many people have made such generous donations that I'm now (May 19th) just over £100 short of my target of £1350. Your support has made all the training and the hard work of the ride itself worthwhile
Donating through this JustGiving website is simple and secure. Your details are safe – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Computer Aid International and reclaim Gift Aid on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. It’s the most efficient way to donate.
So please help me to help those less fortunate than us, and thank you very much for your support. You can follow my training, the build up, and the ride itself at Stuart's London to Paris cycle ride blog.
