Foundation66 works with people who are affected by alcohol and drug use in London. We focus on individual recovery – understanding that people need to be empowered to create change themselves and that everyone’s path will be different.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Foundation66 works with people who are affected by alcohol and drug use – from those concerned about their daily lives and futures, to people who are homeless and want to detox. They empower people at each stage of their own unique recovery, by using tried and tested service models, while also tailoring our support to suit individual needs. They  do this by:

·         Delivering community-based services such as drop-in advice, day programmes, counselling, and art, drama, massage and acupuncture therapies.

·         Offering supported temporary accommodation and housing advice and support to homeless people affected by alcohol and drug issues.

·         Providing safe and secure residential care to people who are addicted to or dependent on alcohol or other drugs including residential detox, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), comprehensive group work and family therapies.

Foundation66 involves people with alcohol and drug issues in all there work – from improving services to developing policies and procedures. We have a highly-experienced and valued workforce that use evidence-based good practice to deliver quality services.

They are also a registered City & Guilds and NCFE assessment centre and offer training and development opportunities for everyone working in the alcohol and drug sectors.

And Lastly they have a strong track record in helping people with alcohol problems and that alcohol can often be a hidden problem, particularly in the way it affects children of families where alcohol is a problem.
