My story
One of my aspirations since I was a kid has been to do a charity challenge like this. Since I turned 30 in January, it's time to get a move on!
At the moment (February) I can comfortably cycle the 4 miles to work over a small hill and then home again in the evening. To do this challenge in September I'm going to have to cycle 75 miles a day: Almost 10 times my cushy 8 miles a day, for three days!
But I'm not just doing this for me: Your donations will help to take care of those with dementia, as well as contributing to finding cures in the future.

First car boot sale - pretty intense! Raised £60 by getting rid of some clutter and even got a couple of cash donations while I was there.

The sprained ligament in my shoulder is healing nicely; I should be back on my bike next week. Now I just need to unbend or replace the rear wheel.
Slipped on wet semi-icy road on the ride in this morning and landed hard on my shoulder. A&E X-rayed it and said I've either fractured my clavicle (and if so, it's in a good position) or I'm just a massive drama queen. I'll find out which on Thursday.
Tried to cycle up Cleeve Hill from Prestbury yesterday. It's a hell of a lot bigger than I thought!
