In 2019 , Spring bank 26th May  I will do the longest, probably hardest bike ride I've ever done

EDIT I completed my challenge but I still battle Crohns and will always fight it

The story so far. 

After being diagnosed with Crohns at around the age of 20 mile life went to pot. I had a love of cycling and worked my dream job in a cycle shop in Sheffield. This all stopped.

Too ill to work and too ill to cycle I spent so many days, weeks and some times months in hospital receiving treatment.
 Two ops to remove more intestine that had ceased to be. the odd smaller one to correct issues and then continual health decline through Arthritis caused by the illness. Bad side effects from treatments and depression.

Then finally I found a drug that seamed to cope with me and not end up making me feel worse. Humira. after 15 years or so struggling this new drug gave me a brighter outlook and after a while I started to become more active.

Well enough to take up kayaking and cycling
Eventually over the past 5 years years my cycling has slowly come back to me. and the past two years racing downhill mountain bikes against mates. although due to ongoing imperfections I haven't kayaked in over a year but one day.

now all I have to worry about is axial and peripheral arthritis raising their ugly heads more than my crohns but the humira is helping me. 
The big problem for me at the moment is Anaemia as I no longer absorb Iron so need bi monthly iron infusions to stop me needing blood transfusions.

There's so many people suffering out there who aren't as lucky as I am. If your donation helps the advancement of treatments then that has to be a good thing weather its a pound or ten pounds.
