2010 Edinburgh Marathon · 23 May 2010 ·

Our vision is that society fully accepts and includes people with Ds. We support families and people with Ds to reach their fullest potential by providing a range of services, influencing public policy and by changing attitudes. We urgently need funding to help families who are struggling right now.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We (Stuart Graham, Ross Graham and Tom McLevy) are going to run in the Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday 23rd May 2010 for Down's Syndrome Scotland.  We hope that you will be able to support us and all donations will be greatly appreciated.  Have a look at their website to see how they help kids with Down's at http://www.dsscotland.org.uk/ and see that your cash and our sweat and tears will help!

13 May

Ok, not long now and I thought I'd keep you all updated as to how we are doing.  Ian Cooke, The Catering Manager at Blairgowrie Golf Club, has also agreed to join us on the run and with his assistance we held a race night at the club and raised over £4,000.  Recently Stuart has picked up a knee injury which has hampered his training a little and Ian has broken his arm and a couple of ribs in a fall.  This has seriously hampered his training but he says he'll be there come what may.  Ross has been doing more miles recently as the day gets ever nearer.  Tom's training has included 2 half marathons and a 20 mile run from Portobello to North Berwick (which takes in a fair bit of the mara route).

So, fingers crossed, we will all be there in some sort of shape to make all 26.2 miles and again say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far.

17 May. . .

Ian Cooke has had to admit defeat and pull out of the run because of his injuries.  He's very disappointed but will be joining the other three post race to celebrate. . . . hopefully!!
