MY STORY

My daughter Molly Mae was born 22/10/2010 two months early and weighing just 3.5lbs, after three days she had a collapsed lung and was rush to another special care baby. If it was not for The Conquest Hospital in Hastings and St Peters in Chertsey helping her to recover I could not imagine what life would be like now. Bliss is a great charity which is there to help parents like me and my wife cope with these difficult times.

I’m pledging to run two Half Marathon and Two Marathons in 3 months at the beginning of 2012 to raise money and awareness of what Bliss and Special Care baby units do to help parents like us, my plan is to run the following:

19 February –Brighton Half Marathon

25 March – Hastings Half Marathon

15 April – Brighton Marathon

22 April – London Marathon

My good friend Glenn will also be joining me on the Brighton & Hastings Half Marathon and the Brighton Marathon.
