Later this year, we will set out on a 17 day trek on the world's highest mountain range (To Mount Everest Base Camp).</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Arial; color: #1c1c1c; background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% white;">We are doing this to raise money for the "Peter Brunt Clinic" at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. As some of my friends will know, my best friend, Chris Spencer, was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis at just the young age of 20. In October last year, he was admitted to hospital for nearly an entire month and had to undergo urgent, major abdominal surgery before getting out.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Arial; color: #1c1c1c; background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% white;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Arial; color: #1c1c1c; background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% white;">Ulcerative Colitis and Crohns Disease (both have similarities) are horrible and life-changing illnesses that take many years to come to terms with</span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Arial; color: #1c1c1c; border: 1pt none windowtext; padding: 0cm;">. There is currently no cure for neither of these conditions, and the Peter Brunt Clinic do a tough job in looking after anyone in the Grampian area that suffers from the illness. By raising as much money as possible, we are showing our support to Chris Spencer, the amazing staff at the clinic and other patients suffering from this awful illness. The past two years have been very difficult for Chris, but the staff at the Peter Brunt Clinic have been amazing with him, so we really hope by doing this we can show how much we respect their hard work.</span></p>

We have both started training already and this will continue until the day we leave for Kathmandu.</span></p>

He's one of the nicest and most caring guys out there, and is always there to help his friends when they have needed it the most.</span></p>

ANY amount of money would mean the world to us, Chris, and everyone else supporting this cause. This is our way of saying thank you to Chris for being a great friend, and to the staff for helping him get through such a horrendous month.</span></p>
