The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Hi Guys and Girls!

My name is Sam Schenk. I'm a second year degree student, studying Children's Nursing at King's College London. As I'm in New Zealand for 7 weeks, justgiving payments are the only way of sponsoring me.

So, (idiotically perhaps, and against my mother's wishes) I'm doing a 43m bungee jump off Kawarau Bridge in to a river in New Zealand. It's booked for the 10th April 2012, and is where the bungee jump was invented! It's hopefully coming with video proof afterwards!!!

The cause is particularly close to my heart with two of my brothers having Autism. If you don't know much about Autism or want to find out more, please see paragraph below or visit: http://www.autism.org.uk/I know people maybe struggling to find cash at the moment but please spare what you can. I'm petrified, but it's all for a great cause! Please tell you friends and share the link as much as possible! :D

Autism
Autism is a serious, lifelong and disabling condition.
Without the right support, it can have a profound –
sometimes devastating – effect on individuals and
families. But it simply doesn’t get the attention it
deserves, which means that people affected by
... autism don’t get the help, support and understanding
they need.
