<p>Hello and thank you for sponsoring me.&nbsp;</p> <p>The money is going to a great cause - the Breast Cancer Campaign - which is dedicated to finding innovative solutions to beating breast cancer.</p> <p>As most of you know, I'm&nbsp;not the best runner in the world although I have read 'Running Made Easy', bought myself a new pair of running shoes (not the ones pictured) and invested in a Garmon (heart rate monitor / distance calculator and currrently&nbsp;my best friend).&nbsp;</p> <p>I finish my treatment for breast cancer in April 2011 and I thought that running the marathon would be a great way to put a big full stop at end of 19th months of&nbsp;treatment.&nbsp; I'm also running for my Mother who died from breast cancer in 2005, my sister who had breast cancer when she was just 37, for&nbsp;three very good friends who have recently been diagnosed, and .. well, for everyone else too.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
