Luca wanted to do something positive in memory of his Grandad John and asked if he could raise money (in his words) "to get rid of this horrible disease", so he has been motivated to raise money in support of Cancer Research.

He wants to make a difference and prevent further deaths from this terrible disease and so has chosen something that his is very good at, swimming, as a method of raising much needed funds to support this cause.

He will be swimming 5k at Tiddenfoot Swimming Pool on Sunday 2nd Feb.  He is now training hard and is really motivated and excited about his challenge!  Anyone who would like to pop along and support Luca would be very welcome. 

We would like to thank Graham Pepper from Linslade Crusaders Swimming Club for helping us greatly with the organisation of this swim and for overseeing Luca whilst he does it - we couldn't have organised this without his help and the help of Tiddenfoot.

So, Luca, keep up the hard work, and you will be rewarded wtih a trip to Red Hot Buffet after the swim! xx
