I am hoping that you can join me to help the celebrations and would appreciate you spending a minute to read the request below on behalf of my Dad.</p> <p>'I have committed myself to the Men's Coast to Coast Cycle Ride from 5th to 7th May 2012.</p> <p>The event starts with cycle wheels in the sea at Whitehaven and finishes three days (and 150 miles or thereabouts) later at Tynemouth.</p> <p>The event is organised by Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland and I have to be sponsored for the event. I think you will agree, Hospice at Home is a marvellous charity to support and every penny I get will go to that charity and be used solely for the charity's purposes.</p> <p>I hope that despite these austere times, you will feel able to sponsor me and support the charity.</p> <p>It is several years since I last did a sponsored event for Hospice at Home and as I will be 73 when this event takes place please don't worry as I don't think I will be troubling you again after this!!!'</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
