We did it! Eddie, Sean and Tom joined us and ran with great times. Sue's Mum was a fantastic cheerleader. We placed from 6th to 106th and everyone did brilliantly well. Massive well done to all and thanks to everyone who helps week in week out organise the Roundhay Parkrun.
HUGE Thanks to everyone who has donated so far - you are all brilliant x
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are a group of friends from the Department of Health who lost a very special friend and colleague this year - Sue Corrigan.
To celebrate Sue's fabulous friendship we will be running 5km in Roundhay Park, Leeds on Saturday 17th September 2011. Everyone will have their own personal challenge for this run from beating their own personal best to cross the finishing line.
At the end of her life Sue and her family received amazing love and care from St Leonard's Hospice so we'd like to do something special and help make sure they can continue to provide such valued care for people and their families at the end of their life.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. So please dig deep and donate now.
Everyone is very welcome to join in with us at 9:00am on Saturday 17th September 2011 in Roundhay Park, Leeds. If you want to run please register at www.parkrun.org.uk/leeds/home.
We will be celebrating with a picnic brunch afterwards.
