Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I decided in a mad moment to climb Kilimanjaro with my son Alan and his friend Martin Turpin and my good friend and fellow nurse, Australian - Judy Evans
Well we made it with thanks to all our supporters, Martin made it to the top and the rest of us just a little lower. It was a real physical and mental challenge. We all really enjoyed the journey in many ways, but were delighted to get back to showers and porcelain loos!
My chosen charity is St Elizabeth's, a school, college and home for adults and children with severe epilepsy and other neuroligical disorders. Our family has been involved with St Elizabeth's for some time and we are well aware of the valuable work they do for people suffering from these conditions, and the support they give the families and would be grateful if you could support them
Thanks so much for your support and especially to Gill, Harvey and Tony for lending me the gear, Pauline for the snacks and Joan for introducing me to 'take two'. The photos will be up on the website as soon as we have sorted them. There are about 500!
