Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

£753 - that's our grand total, which with gift aid will be about £900 to the RSPCA York home!!Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored us - we hope you enjoy the photos.

In memory of Sue Ross, and to help all the animals at York RSPCA myself and 2 dogs are going to climb Ben Nevis on August 6th. Sue loved animals, and when she was well regularly visited the kennels to walk the dogs and cuddle the puppies.

Hi, Holly and Lacey here (that's us in the photo).Just been told we're expected to climb Ben Nevis to raise money for York RSPCA. Is this a good idea? We don't look too sure about it, do we? But because it's in memory of our lovely friend Sue we're going to have a go. We'd like to raise as much money as possible, as an incentive to leave the tent and get on the mountain! I (the one with the rucksack) will be carrying supplies for the 4 legged members ONLY!!

UPDATE!!!

WE DID IT!!!

Lacey: Well, Holly, Sue said it was going to be an adventure, I call it a slog. And I think we should have had DOUBLE rations, except she would have made me carry them as well. Did you see all the people taking my photo - I'm famous!

Holly: Over 4000 feet they said it was, and don't our 4 feet know it...zzzzzzzzz......

Yep, we did it, a lovely day it was. Thank you to everyone who supported us, especially Sandie and Oscar our base-camp support group. YOU CAN STILL DONATE, THINK OF ALL THOSE LOVELY ANIMALS.
