We work to save the African lion to ensure viable populations exist

Story

My name is Sue Stuart, thank you for visiting my page.
I'm raising funds for the Ngamo pride of lions. Recently seen on 'Lion Country' on ITV1.The pride is the first to be released by ALERT as part of their rehabilitation and release in the wild program. I need your help to maintain the release area for the lions.
The lions are flourishing so well in their semi-wild environment that they now have their first cubs. When they have learnt all the survival skills they need from their pride the cubs will be released into the wild, into the areas of Africa that have lost their lion populations.
Africa has lost 80-90% of it's lions in the recent past.
We need to save the beautiful African lion.
You can follow the pride at the dedicated blog page at                     http://ngamo.wordpress.com/

About the charity

We are dedicated to the facilitation and promotion of sound conservation and management plans for the African lion (Panthera leo). By means of a responsible development approach we aim to realize the species’ potential to provide substantial social, cultural, ecological and economic benefits.
