Centrepoint - Centrepoint Sleep Out 2011 · 10 November 2011 ·

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homeless charity. Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 16-25 year olds into a home and a job every year. Our award-winning helpline provides support to vulnerable young people across the country. We campaign to end youth homelessness by 2037.

Story

On 10th November 2011, I will be taking part in a charity sleep out in London's Exhange Square in a bid to raise money for Centerpoint - the national charity geared towards helping young homeless people.

As a Director for housebuilder, Miller Homes, I have heard a number of alarming facts about the state of the nations housing supply.  We are now looking at the worst housing shortage since World War II - a fact which could see tens of thousands left homeless by the end of the next decade.  This is something I wish to draw attention in every way possible.

I'd be extremely grateful for any donation, no matter how great or small, as I try to raise as much as possible for such a worthwhile charity.
