Story
Six runners: Nick Collinson, Danny Reeve, Marc Delea, Michael Wilks, Steve Palfrey and Perry Taylor are going to run the 100km from Lowestoft to Ipswich, via Southwold, Dunwich, Aldeburgh, Snape, Butley, Bawdsey and Felixstowe. We will run 100km over two days (50km per day) on the 11th & 12th July 2015, overnighting at YHA Blaxhall. The beautiful Suffolk coast is an inspiring place, which is one of the attractions of this challenge, along with pushing ourselves harder and further than ever before. It was Danny's idea to raise money for East Anglian Air Ambulance, which is a fantastic charity as we all know. Let's hope we don't need them!
We'd really like to thank the various businesses along the route, who are supporting us, with water stops and food. Huge thanks to David Lloyd gym in Ipswich who are hosting our finish and are feeding the runners. Also to Southwold Pier, the Dunwich Ship, Thorpeness Dolphin, the Froize Inn, the Boathouse Cafe and SWT Trimley Nature Reserve, who are providing vital water stops along the way. Thanks also to Jay Close at the Fitness Project, Woodbridge, for logo design.
Please do help us reach our fundraising target.
