Our friend and long term patient Jean spent many weeks recovering from pneumonia, I will never forget the expression on her face and the tears of joy when we took her outside for the first time. Her recovery was fraught with setbacks but she fought like a warrior and we are proud to say she weaned from the ventilator and underwent rehab on our ICU before going home. She is now back at work and doing brilliantly! That is her in the photo and she graciously gave me permission to use it and her name.

I want to help us buy a bespoke transport wheelchair that will allow us to provide this service more often, more efficiently and to more complex patients. I know there are so many fundraising drives at the moment for so many amazing causes so I am not expecting large amounts as time are tight.
