InShaAllah we will be carrying out various activities in order to raise money for the #1000BreadChallenge set by Skt Welfare. 

SKT Welfare have established a bakery within Syira which distributes free bread to needy families within 7 local refugee camps. Whilst we are busy fasting this Ramadan, these families are experiencing true hunger. A small donation of £7 is enough to provide these families 10 packs of bread free of charge! - 100% Donation Policy!

Since it began this particular project has benefitted 243,100 people; a phenomenal achievement.The charity purchases the flour and other ingredients required to make bread - including yeast and salt – and a tonne of flour produces roughly 1000 packs of bread; each pack containing 10 loaves. An individual would typically consume about 2 loaves per meal, so a single pack would suffice the average Syrian family for one meal.
