My great friend Sarah de Carvalho started Happy Child in Brazil 15 years ago (following 2 years of living with me in London! no comments...please!!) below is an idea of what they do......
Happy Child rescues street and ‘at risk’ children in the cities of Belo Horizonte and Recife in Brazil. We have a 24 hour emergency reception centre, seven safe homes and a farm community which provide a secure base for their rehabilitation and re-integration back in to family and community.
