My Monday Evening Fitness group members and i decided to take part in a popular local 10k run as part of their wish to lead a healthier lifestyle. I am dressing in a sumo suit to make it harder for myself and more entertaining for everyone else. I hope that the group support will encourage people to take part who would normally consider 10km too far to run, and take away the worry of finishing last (As that will be me for sure!!)

Any donations for my efforts would be greatly received. I am raising money for CLIC Sargent in memory of Carole Leach. Carole was a regular customer at my Wirksworth Leisure Centre fitness classes, who passed away on 10th January 2018. Carole was an amazing lady who made the most of every minute of her life. She attended classes throughout her illness as she found it helped improve her quality of life, and classes are not quite the same with out her. She requested that any money ever raised in her name be donated to a charity which helped young people living with cancer and their families.
