After loosing my beautiful and kind mother in law to Ovarian Cancer. I myself at 33 years young found myself with an 9cm cyst in hospital where 11 litres of fluid was pumped out of my body. I was terrified to learn I had Ovarian Cancer. I was given the option of a hysterectomy as preventative surgery but I wanted to maintain my future fertility. I was terrified as I had to have six rounds of gruelling chemotherapy and I could not have my eggs frozen. Many painful scans and tests and endless appointments later. I am at the moment healthy and happy. Though not in remission. I am doing a sponsored silence for Ovacome a wonderful charity that helped me a lot and a Charity Fashion show in London.
