Since 1993, Unique Home in the Punjab (India) is a home that cares for orphaned and abandoned girls from birth upwards. Prakash Kaur is a unique woman who has set her life goal to raise, educate and offer the girls parental love and support in a safe and ‘homely’ environment. The home at present houses 54 girls and a new site has been acquired to ensure that the children have more room and that the site can accommodate others who need their valuable help. Education, clothes, food, shelter, etc are all paid for my donations.To help support the girls and the home, I felt the need to do something challenging. As I am afraid of heights I decided to do a Tandem Skydive from 10,000 feet, which I successfully accomplished on Sunday 24 October 2010. It was amazing :-)
