In a moment of madness we have entered a ‘Survival Of The Fittest’ event on October 10th in Nottingham. The event is a 10K run………….sounds ok…………however a large ‘obstacle’ is positioned at every 1K and small ‘obstacles’ in-between! Some of the large ‘obstacles’ include an Army Assault Course, Stadium Climb (up and down the steps at Notts Forest FC), and 'The Lake Traverse' (self explanatory!) To encourage us along this ‘fun’ event we are getting sponsored for the Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital; Funds allocated to the Children’s Heart Appeal which is to help raise £113,000 towards a 3D Echocardiograph machine.
